(Milan, 1st March 2012) TXT e-solutions, in collaboration with Microsoft and Kurt Salmon, announce the second edition of Thinking Retail. TXT 2012 Thinking Retail Event returns with an even richer agenda, more testimonials, debates, deep insights into best practices, solutions and technology for Integrated Retail Planning and PLM.

Following a successful first  event held in Milan (Italy) in September 2011 which attracted more than 100 participants, Thinking Retail moves to Paris to welcome Clevels, managers and planners willing to learn from their peers and exchange on the daily challenges and best practices in Retail Planning and Collection Development.

Guest speakers on the day will be some of the highest profile and most innovative brands and retailers in the globe: TXT’s customers Desigual, Guess, Louis Vuitton Malletier, Marc Jacobs and Verywear have already confirmed their contribution.

During the Event, guest speakers, along with Kurt Salmon, Microsoft and TXT experts will discuss the value that Integrated Planning and PLM best practice processes, solutions and technologies can bring to multi-channel retailing, while special emphasis will be placed on the practical actions that need to be taken to move to the next level of maturity. Real case studies will showcase how an end-to-end approach to planning can help companies better align strategic objectives with operational execution and optimize decision making across all critical Fashion & Retail processes: Merchandise & Assortment Planning, Collection development, Forecasting and In Season Retail Planning.

Attendees will also be offered the opportunity to assist live demos of TXT’s Integrated Retail Planning and PLM solutions, including the new features of CDMi 4.0, unveiled in January.

Simone Pozzi, VP Sales & Marketing TXT e-solutions comments: “We are excited to work closely with Microsoft and Kurt Salmon for the second edition of our Integrated Retail Planning and PLM best practices summit. We received enthusiastic feedback from the first edition, and we have decided to keep hosting this forum on technologies, best practices and success stories, assigning even more resources in the organization. The aim of Thinking Retail is to become a key, regular summit for the retail community where they can meet and share ideas on how to fully leverage PLM and Retail Planning as key drivers of operational excellence and business growth”

Do not miss being part of Thinking Retail, this Event is the ideal opportunity to connect with peers, learn about process best practices and latest technologies as well as engaging in one-to-one meetings with industry experts.
