ecVision Suite™

ecVision Suite™ is a cloud-based supply chain collaboration platform that optimizes product lifecycle and supply chain processes. Through increased visibility and connectivity, private label brands and retailers have the ability to manage costs, mitigate supply chain risk and streamline the flow of goods.

Comprised of five modular services, ecVision Suite™ reflects the standardized business processes of product and supply chain lifecycles. Each modular service, described below, can be implemented as a standalone module or integrated with any of the other four modules depending on the business needs of the retailer, private label brand or importer.

ecVision Suite™: Collaborative Product Development Module

The Collaborative Product Development Module provides private label brands and retailers with the ability to track and collaborate on each of the product development phases from concept to adoption. With BOM Collaboration, Version Control and Version Comparison, retailers and private label brands spend less time managing information and more time focused on product. To create a single platform for all product development information and external collaboration with suppliers, the Collaborative Product Development Module can be fully integrated with any existing PDM system.

ecVision Suite™: Sourcing and Production Module

By unifying critical product, costing, and supplier information, all parties in the trading partner network can work as a cohesive team. Within the Sourcing and Production Module, private label brands and retailers can manage all of their pre-costing, first cost and component level costing thus providing them with the ability to analyze raw material demands based on the line plan for the category or brand. Private label brands and retailers can also collaborate with their vendors, agents and factories on Purchase Orders. For easy decision making, the Sourcing and Production Module can present side-by-side cost comparisons, as well as handle support requests and tracking of any Finished Goods Sampling.

ecVision Suite™: Global Logistics Module

Integration with 3rd party logistics providers can be done within the Global Logistics Module, giving retailers and private label brands the ability to efficiently collaborate with the service providers of their choice. Also in this module, retailers and private label brands can create packing lists and ASNs, print carton labels and commercial invoices, as well as booking requests to logistics providers.

ecVision Suite™: Supplier Management Module

For audits and social compliance reviews, the Supplier Management Module handles scheduling for audits, automated audit alert reminders, consolidates test results and creates Vendor Score cards that can be stored and organized. Through integration with other supplier inspection providers, the Supplier Management Module creates a single flow of information between external organizations and compliance managers. This connection can couple factory inspection reports with other supply chain processes.

Within this module, Brands and Retailers also have access to the Supplier Community where vendors, agents and factories self-register and post their product catalog within their vendor profile. Retailers and brands can then search the Supplier Community for new vendors, vendor catalogs and contact them for more information.

ecVision Suite™: Material Management Module

Within the Material Management Module, retailers and private label brands can participate in material bulk buying, have visibility into their material reservations and capacity, and allocate and consume against their reservations. By tracking committed quantities versus actual orders placed, private label brands and retailers can work closely with their suppliers and factories to accurately determine utilization, minimizing material liability and reducing costs.

ecVision Content Management Portal

In the globally distributed retail environment, valuable content and assets are often difficult to share with your internal teams, your external suppliers and vendors around the world. In order to achieve the optimal distribution, retailers and brands must first revisit the channels they have chosen to use for sharing their corporate documents.

The majority of retailers and brands do not have real-time access to the most up-to-date versions of artwork, documents and corporate announcements because they are still relying heavily on email. The ecVision Content Management Portal (CMP) is designed to improve access and sharing of information. Through CMP, brands and retailers can “publish once, subscribe many” based on access rules. As a cloud-based solution, CMP provides a standard, real-time, streamlined method for communicating common information to all partners, both internal and external. CMP can be integrated with ecVision Suite™ or implemented as a standalone service.
