ACERBIS, the renowned Italian brand of motorbike clothing, accessories and sportswear has selected the TXT PLM solution (Product Lifecycle Management) by TXT Retail to streamline design and development of all its apparel products.
Started in 1973 as a producer of plastic materials and protection accessories for motorbikes, the group has soon extended its operations to motorbike sportswear and accessories (helmets, jackets, t-shirts, gloves, bags, footwear) as well as to football clothing, with several international clubs wearing their uniforms. With two production sites in Italy and Czech Republic, and a large direct and indirect distribution network, ACERBIS sells its products in the five continents.
“In 1995, we started to produce technical clothing and accessories for motorbikers. TXT PLM will help ACERBIS centralize all product data, from technical drawings, colors, size specs, bill of materials, as well as sampling and production technical worksheets, costs and suppliers information. The solution will help streamline the collection workflow, increasing visibility at each step and simplifying collaboration among all functions involved.
