Vistage Leadership Awards cite innovation in company, PLM system
(CAMPBELL, CALIF., 22 NOVEMBER, 2011) Vistage International has named Chris Groves, CEO of Centric Software, Inc., a finalist in its 2011 Member Leadership Awards.
Vistage, a global CEO peer advisory organization with nearly 15,000 members, named Groves a finalist in the Innovation category of the awards. The recognition came as a result of Groves’ successful leadership of Centric’s mobile strategies, and co-invention of Centric’s mobile products for product lifecycle management (PLM) software for the apparel and fast-moving consumer goods markets. Centric is the provider of the Centric 8 PLM system. In the past year, the company has released two patent-pending, industry-first mobile apps for PLM software.
Now in their second year, the Vistage Member Leadership Awards honor the inspiring business and community achievements of Vistage members who best exemplify the organization’s values and its six cultural imperatives: Collaboration, Courage, Impact, Innovation, Judgment and Passion.
Groves is a highly accomplished international business executive with more than 20 years of experience in building and managing global technology companies. He joined in 1997 as president and CEO, and member of the company’s board of directors.
