Cloud-based PLM application provides HSE with modern user experience and innovations for range/collection planning and digital buying

London, U.K — April 20, 2021 — Aptos, a recognised market leader in retail technology solutions, today announced that German Live Commerce expert HSE is live on Aptos’ next-generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution. HSE deployed the latest version of Aptos PLM in the cloud to take advantage of a modern user experience and innovations that support dynamic range/collection planning and digital buying.

Aptos PLM seamlessly integrates with HSE’s existing Aptos Supply Chain Management (SCM) application in order to more tightly connect product development and supply chain processes and ensure efficient communication with key partners.

HSE is a leading provider in Europe in the field of live commerce. Whether via one of the TV channels, the online shop, the award-winning app or via social networks, customers decide when and where to shop at HSE. Live Commerce expert HSE stands for the most entertaining form of shopping and inspires more than 1.4 million active customers, who appreciate the curated product range from the segments of fashion, jewelry, beauty, wellness, household and home & living. Through three TV channels (HSE, HSE Extra and HSE Trend), HSE reaches some 46 million households in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (D/A/CH region) and another 36 million households via the TV station Shopping Live in Russia.

“With a diversified and curated product range like ours and the multitude of channels that we serve, it is essential to maintain a comprehensive view of the collection,” said Rainer Stäbler, COO at HSE. “Adding to that complexity, we must closely manage a high volume of buying processes and varying suppliers’ lead times to guarantee that each product arrives in time for the TV show and for the launch of our cross-channel campaigns.”

“With Aptos’ next-gen PLM solution, we have the advanced functionality that we need to orchestrate and digitise our end-to-end collection process and keep it fully under control,” Stäbler added. We are very satisfied with the new release. The cloud-based solution delivers significant innovations in key areas for our business and offers an intuitive interface that promotes greater levels of collaboration, adoption and efficiency.”

HSE is now utilising Aptos PLM to help manage all phases of the merchandise lifecycle, including collection planning and open-to-buy, product design and development, and detailed costing and buying.

Specific to the range-planning capabilities, HSE can sort the plan by any dimension and attribute (e.g., pricing, materials used, colours, and sizes) and examine the plan both from an analytical and visual perspective. This empowers decision-makers to immediately understand how new styles will work together.

“HSE has a strong strategy for an integrated and end-to-end approach for managing its collection planning, buying and supply chain processes,” said Luca Ferraris, Product Manager, PLM at Aptos.

“With Aptos’ newly redesigned PLM solution, HSE has an ultra-modern application to connect all key stakeholders with the information and data they need to streamline processes and deliver products to market that delight shoppers. We are proud to support this innovative leader in live commerce with our advanced retail technology.”

Trusted by hundreds of retail brands worldwide, Aptos PLM provides complete collection management across the product lifecycle, giving design, product management, planning and buying teams the tools they need to continuously bring their brands to life.
