Human Solutions to showcase innovations for the apparel industry in Japan

Kaiserslautern, 5. April 2016 Human Solutions will be at the JIAM (Japan International Apparel Industry Show) in Osaka from April 6 to 9. The company’s products will be showcased at the German Engineering Federation (VDMA)Booth (no. 407) in Hall 4.

The JIAM is one of Japan’s largest trade shows for the apparel industry and is organized by the Japanese Association of Sewing Machine Manufacturers. Human Solutions will present its solutions for the entire process chain of the apparel industry – the company’s main focus for the show will be 3D simulation in Vidya. “The Asian region is becoming increasingly important for the apparel industry”, says Dr. Andreas Seidl, Managing Director of Human Solutions GmbH. “So it’s exciting for us to get first-hand experience of how the industry’s currently developing in Japan and to introduce our solutions.”

Vidya_WS0Vidya is leading software for the 3D simulation of apparel. It enables the visualization and simulation of collections, with correct body dimension data, original CAD designs and real material parameters. This data can be used throughout the entire fashion process chain. That’s why Vidya is integrated with Cad.Assyst, iSize, PLM GoLive and the Fashion Cloud GoLive.

What does Vidya simulate?

Vidya simulates persons with real data on the measurements, volume and movement behavior of their bodies. Just like in real life, the simulated 3D garment consists of the sewn 2D CAD pattern pieces. Vidya uses real material parameters to display the natural stretch behavior and structure of a fabric, for instance. Human, pattern and material interact perfectly for the simulation and the same body measurements/sizetables are used in CAD and for the creation of avatars. Drape, elasticity and structure correspond to natural movement behavior.
