And we believe it has every chance of disrupting a market that is hungry for a new approach to PLM.
The solution is designed to cater to brands, retailers and manufacturing partners with as few as 20 users, but as many as thousands – all through configuring and scaling a single code track, ensuring that every customer, no matter their size, has access to the latest upgrades and innovations. This may seem like a bold strategy – especially given the scale of the investment involved in bringing it to life – but it is one that appears perfectly calibrated to meet the evolving needs of today’s RFA PLM market. Brands and retailers new to PLM are likely to be drawn by the solution’s broad feature set and ease and speed of implementation, while businesses with legacy solutions that have reached dead ends on the upgrade path will find considerable appeal in an enterprise-class platform where continuous upgrades (delivered monthly at the time this Evaluation was published) are guaranteed.
Infor has, for several years, maintained a relatively low profile in the RFA PLM space. But while work remains to be done to bring all functionality over from its previous PLM product, we believe that the launch of CloudSuiteTM PLM for Fashion vaults the vendor back into an extremely competitive position.
