Koppermann acquires the US giant Under Armour as a customer for its Visual Merchandising solution.
Under Armour has over 25,000 retail outlets worldwide and a recorded turnover of $1.83 billion in 2012. The company will in future be using the integrated software solution Tex-Store and Tex-Define to plan its sales areas.
Under Armour was looking for efficient sales floor planning software for an effective and ideal presentation of its products at the POS in order to realize its marketing and visual merchandising concepts.

Under Armour was founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank who played football at the University of Maryland and went on to found the incredibly successful functional clothing for athletes. The sales areas in the US are up to 6,500 sq.ft. in size and are astoundingly designed to give customers the impression they are inside a sports stadium. Under Armour has outlets (retail and factory) in 39 of the 50 US states, in Canada and China and also operates two Brand Houses. The first flagship store outside North America is now being opened in Edinburgh, Scotland.
