New Addition to Gerber Technology’s European PLM Team Will Manage YuniquePLM Implementations in Retail and Consumer Goods Companies


Gerber(TOLLAND, CONN., USA, 20 SEPTEMBER 2011) Gerber Technology, a business unit of Gerber Scientific, Inc. announced today that Michael Lock has been appointed Delivery Manager for the company’s product lifecycle management (PLM) implementations in the U.K. and Northern Europe.  

Mike has more than 16 years of garment industry experience including two years handling major global PLM implementations for Desl in the U.K., Europe, U.S. and throughout the Asia Pacific.  He was earlier employed at Dewhirst Group for 14 years as the IT executive for the ladies wear business, where his primary responsibilities included the provision of all IT services and delivery of the strategic IT program across the global business.

He has extensive program and project management experience delivering IT systems into all functions of the business including product development, design, manufacturing, distribution and financials.

“Mike brings a wealth of industry knowledge and PLM experience to his new role,” said Peter Bambridge, director of Gerber’s Software Solutions business in North Europe. “His focus on successful delivery of global PLM implementations makes him a real asset.
