New release of TXT PLM solution now available

Enriched workflow, advanced image management and extended mobile capabilities the main enhancements of TXTPLM 3.0

TXT e-solutions, a leading international provider of integrated and collaborative planning solutions announce immediate availability of release 3.0 of TXTPLM.

Based on Microsoft technology and specifically designed for the Fashion & Retail industry, TXTPLM integrates all PLM requirements in one solution: it extends from core PLM capabilities such as Creative Design, Collection Development and Costing to Supplier collaboration, Sourcing and Merchandise Planning.

Version 3.0 delivers further enhanced capabilities in the areas of:

  • Calendar and Workflow management: hierarchical structures can be applied to each process (e.g. collections, styles, materials, colorways) and progress monitored at any level of the hierarchy by means of advanced filtering, graphical and analytical views. Global visibility and fine control span any activity, critical component, role in the collection lifecycle.
  • Extended integration with Microsoft tools:  featuring a Microsoft SharePoint user interface and natively integrated with Microsoft Excel, TXTPLM 3.0 seamlessly integrates with Microsoft PowerPoint simplifying the creation of storyboards in the midst of fast innovation.
  • Advanced image management:  This latest release allows TXTPLM customers to take advantage of new advanced image browsing and visualization features (galleries, filmstrip views, slide show), as well as advanced zooming capabilities. Analysis of the collection can be performed visually, by images, filtering and comparing by any selected attribute.

With TXTPLM 3.0 the convergence with mobile technologies is ever stronger; Users access their data easily, in a visual way, through their Windows 8 slates and maintain complete visibility over the collection lifecycle at each phase.

Collections books are now accessible on the move and even more importantly are updated on-demand, granting a perfect control of the collection development directly in the hands of the users. The heavy use of images and the easy touch navigation deliver dynamic access to the right information; off line capabilities and data synchronization features allow for continued productivity.

Riccardo Proni VP Product Strategy & Development at TXT explains “Release 3.0 not only delivers new levels of intuitiveness but it is differentiated in the marketplace for its extended convergence with mobile. The scope goes beyond the collection design and inspiration phases –capturing ideas remotely and input into storyboarding – providing key users and managers with easy, continuous control over the collection progress. The whole process is streamlined; time to market is further reduced”.

TXTPLM capitalizes on over 15 years’ experience in the field. TXT accounts over 150 PLM customers representing many of the leading Fashion brands and retailers on a global scale.
