(NEW YORK, USA, OCTOBER 25, 2010) OptiTex will attend ITAA’s 2010 national conference in Montreal October 27-30. ITAA is a professional, educational association composed of scholars, educators and students in the textile, apparel and merchandising disciplines in higher education.
OptiTex’s presence at the conference comes at a critical time for new graduates in the fashion industry, especially in such challenging economic times where employment is all but certain. With OptiTex as the latest in cutting edge textile technology, new graduates will have a career edge when using OptiTex software. In addition to formal education and knowledge, mastering the OptiTex technology creates additional employment opportunities in sectors such as: home sewing, movies, gaming, design, ecommerce and manufacturing.
“OptiTex offers cutting edge technology that was never part of traditional curriculum in schools and Universities” explains Yoram Burg, President of OptiTex. “By bringing software like OptiTex to students, traditionally time consuming tasks have become more efficient and students can now find a wider range of success in different textile disciplines.”
Dozens of U.S Universities such as Brown, Cornell University and Parsons School of Design have integrated OptiTex software into their curriculum, along with many distinguished universities worldwide such as London College of Fashion, Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
