TXT Retail, a leading provider of end-to-end planning solutions in retail, announced that Orsay, a leading Fast Fashion Retailer, has selected the TXT AgileFit solution to support Retail Planning across all of its channels, geographies and brands.
A TXT PLM customer since 2006, Orsay has significantly broadened the use of TXT Retail technology to now include all the aspects of end to end planning, for Pre-Season, In-season and same-store format management, accompanied by Merchandise, Assortment and Allocation Planning. The TXT AgileFit solution and methodology will provide Orsay with advanced rapid deployments, reducing the time to accrue benefits.
“We were looking for a planning solution that could provide end-to-end coverage of the process together with low customization and high speed of roll-out, but still maintaining the flexibility that is a key aspect in the Fast Fashion sector where you need to be extremely rapid in evolving your processes and systems. TXT AgileFit proved to be the ideal match to our requirements; the solution provides best practice methodology and the sophisticated functionality that meets our needs, yet being highly flexible to grow with our business model evolution,” said Yvonne Leguil, Chief Product Officer at Orsay.
With headquarters in Germany and offices in Poland and China, Orsay creates feminine, fashionable womenswear. The business model is vertically integrated, with Orsay managing all phases of the collection lifecycle from design to their customer touch points. From its foundation in 1975, the company experienced strong growth while extending its presence in 26 countries with today 630 stores and a growing online presence.
“With such a complex, fast-growing, multi-channel business, streamlining the planning process and achieving end-to-end visibility throughout the organization is a key success factor,” said Daniel Gehring, Chief Information Officer at Orsay “With TXT AgileFit we will plan the product offer for our stores, shop in shops, franchisee, and online channels expecting to further increase assortment and merchandising precision while optimizing inventory levels all along our value chain.”
In addition, integration with the TXT PLM solution already in use at Orsay, will give the company tighter control over the collection lifecycle such as comparing initial line plans and targets with products confirmed and actual sales, and feeding this information back into innovation.
Simone Pozzi, EVP Managing Director at TXT Retail commented: “Orsay is a company with strong leadership and clear vision to achieve planning excellence. We are proud to have been supporting them along the journey, first with PLM and now with our integrated end-to-end planning capabilities. TXT AgileFit capitalizes on best practices from the sector to provide reliable and accelerated implementations and benefits; Fast Fashion companies are seeing strong value from this approach.”
