“Pantone is a design-focused company with steady attention around the importance of connecting innovative physical and digital solutions. We are committed to offering designers an integrated workflow, and partnering with ColorDigital gives users direct access to the full Pantone Color Libraries, to ensure the seamless communication of colour from design through production.”  Adrián Fernández / Vice President and General Manager – Pantone

The digital transformation is creating unexpected new partnerships.

In future, Color Digital and DMI, in partnership with X-Rite and Pantone, will be making the full, classic PANTONE colour palette available in digital format.

Through a process of continuous convergence as well as the implementation of interfaces, the two solutions providers, X-Rite and ColorDigital have brought their respective partners, Pantone and the DMI on board.

X-Rite is a leader in the science and technology of colour and appearance, offering measurement devices for the printing, packaging, photography, graphic design, video, automotive, paints, plastics, textiles and medical industries. Pantone provides a universal colour language used by more than 10 million designers and producers around the world, across various design industries such as fashion, graphic, product and packaging design.

ColorDigital, for its part, makes available the most innovative technology for representing and communicating real, digitally identical colours and the DMI offers platforms and network for mutual communication.

The sourcing and communication workflows for Pantone colours, which were previously analogue-based, have been fully integrated into the digital process development of the supply chain to offer full benefits for your customers in the fashion, lifestyle and consumer goods industries.

The Re‘aD Summit 2018 will mark the official launch of this cooperation.

About Re’aD

Re‘aD is the forum for digital transformation. An initiative for the concrete development of innovations in logistics and sustainability through digitisation – from the industry, for the industry. Speed, cost-effectiveness, precision and sustainability are the best arguments for digitisation – but which tools have proven their value to users? What is state of the art?

At the Re’aD SUMMIT, users share their knowledge gained from experience: from digital measurement through to representation and communication of colours, shapes and surfaces in virtual development and 3D simulation from the computer screen through to the finished product. Software and hardware solutions will also be presented which have been tried and tested by leading companies in the textiles industry. Users of renowned brands will display practical applications for the digital transformation of the entire supply chain.

Re’aD showcases the digitised workflow for all production processes. Participants can find information, share ideas and personally test the applications as well as benefiting from extensive consulting for individual company-specific solutions.

Re’aD is aimed at companies and designers in the fashion, textile and lifestyle industries, IT specialists, product managers and interested parties – anyone who needs to interact with digital transformation.
