Sportalm and Koppermann sign a cooperation agreement

Since the founding of Sportalm in 1953, the paths of Koppermann and Sportalm, two successful companies with long traditions in their respective fields, have crossed many times. At the end of 2013 the highly flexible and configurable PLM/PDM solution of Tex-Define was able to win over Ms. Ulli Ehrlich, Mr. Wilhelm Ehrlich, Ms. Brigitte Kurt and the R&D and IT teams and convinced them to enter into cooperation with Koppermann.

The final decision in Koppermann’s favor was based on its many years of experience in the field of fashion IT, on its excellent reputation in the industry (all the big players use Koppermann solutions) and on the many joint projects it has successfully carried out.

“I am very pleased to welcome our new “family member”. Sportalm is a pioneer in Austrian fashion and sportswear at the very highest quality level. It is also a company with which my father already had good contacts,” Wolfgang Koppermann stressed. “We are proud that our team will be able to demonstrate its enthusiasm, passion and skills while supporting our partner Sportalm in its innovative processes.”

Sportalm in brief: For more than 60 years Sportalm has stood for originality, passion, zest and Alpine flair in combination with the renowned Kitzbühel lifestyle: a mixture of glamor, sports, fashion, tradition and Alpine costume. Innovative functional materials are treated in tried and trusted craftsmanship – a modern design that unashamedly makes use of its historic roots. The result is inimitable clothing with a wide range of womenswear, skiwear and Alpine costume, with a love of detail, in high quality with an authentic look and 100% made in Europe.
