Swedish Online Company Nelly.com® Goes Live With YuniquePLM™ to Further its Growth and Improve Time to Market

NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2015 – Sweden-based online retailer Nelly.com has announced its go-live with Gerber Technology’s YuniquePLM™ to manage the development and design of its growing in-house lines of fashion goods, as well as its nearly 700 brands featured within its online catalogue. The company targets fashion-minded 18-35 year olds and generates over 10 million visits per month internationally. Gerber Technology’s longtime partner, ACG Nyström®, led the implementation.

Established in 2004 as a shopping platform of the hottest brands for fashion-minded girls, Nelly.com also recently pursued the creation of its own brands. Sales of products from these labels have expanded significantly, and accounted for 35 percent of the company’s total revenue during the first nine months of 2015. The company focuses on the Nordic markets, which accounts for approximately 90 percent of sales. Nelly.com also serves customers around the world, shipping to nearly 60 countries.

YuniquePLM, designed specifically for the fashion and retail industries, features robust functionality in a web-based platform that helps teams around the world communicate effectively, accelerate their workflows and reduce errors.

Magnus Månsson, CEO of Nelly.com, said, “As our in-house brands continue to grow, so does our need for a system that aligns our supply chain. With our need for fast communication between design and manufacturing facilities, effective collaboration is absolutely essential. We look forward to the material benefits YuniquePLM will provide.”

“We are thrilled to partner with one of the largest online fashion retailers in the Nordic region,” said Bill Brewster, vice president and general manager of Enterprise SW Solutions. “YuniquePLM will drive efficiency and link a variety of supply channels, as Nelly.com continues to develop its position.”
