Texbase Releases ‘Discussions’ – an Integrated Supply Chain Communications Tool

Bozeman, MT (July 19, 2017) – Texbase, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based product compliance, testing and materials management software solutions has released Discussions, a fully-integrated supply chain communications tool.

Enterprise communication typically happens within email or messaging, without any link to the actual object of conversation. This leads to disconnected data and a lack of knowledge sharing which deprives organizations of the collective wisdom needed to make informed business decisions.

“Customers have asked us for a way to capture the information lost in emails when employees jump back and forth between Texbase for data storage and their email client. Texbase Discussions delivers contextual intelligence by capturing conversations that occur within the supply chain that are documented and forever attached to the object being discussed. The result is a more holistic approach to enterprise knowledge management.” – stated Joe Walkuski, Texbase CEO.

Discussion participants can include both licensed Texbase users, Texbase Connect supply chain partners (including suppliers, manufacturers and independent testing labs) in addition to any external, non-licensed contacts identified by the discussion creator.

Discussions is applicable to all Texbase modules including Fabrics, Components, Finished Products, Specifications, Testing, Compliance, Yarns, Fibers, and Color.

Texbase Discussions was part of the recently released Summer 2017 version of Texbase and is now available to all Texbase subscribers.
