Honouring new, future-oriented technological developments in the apparel and textile industry: Texprocess Innovation Award now open for entries.
Innovative personalities once again have the opportunity to win the Texprocess Innovation Award, which will be given on the occasion of Texprocess, Leading International Trade Fair for Processing Textile and Flexible Materials, from 14 to 17 May 2019. The competition is now open for entries, which can be submitted until 18 February 2019.
Entries are invited from exhibitors of Texprocess 2019, as well as companies, institutes, universities, polytechnics and individuals not represented at the fair. The rules: the developments submitted should be shortly before being launched onto the market or, if already available on the market, not have been so for more than two years. Additionally, they may not have been chosen for any other award.
The judging criteria include innovativeness, design quality, choice of materials, technical and economic quality, ecological quality and the overall concept of the technology employed. Particular weighting will be given to new technological developments and concepts for greater sustainability.
The Texprocess Innovation Award offers not only the innovative setting of the leading international trade fair but also the opportunity to present new developments to an independent jury of experts, which will choose the best innovations from all those entered to be honoured with the Texprocess Innovation Award. The presentation ceremony will be held on the first day of the fair and is sure to attract the attention of the media. Moreover, all award-winning projects will be exhibited at a special presentation area alongside other award-winning products.
At the same time, the Techtextil Innovation Award will be presented at the concurrent Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens.
