Always a visually rich platform, FastFit360 allows supply chain partners, designers and executives alike to rotate, annotate and analyze 360-degree images (or extremely detailed close-ups) of their garments – from inspirational products right through to pre-production samples.  At the heart of those capabilities is the FastFit® Studio, which internationally-renowned retailers and brands like Macy’s and Ralph Lauren have installed in locations around the world.  By bringing exacting photography and seamless collaboration to the fit room – using the Studio – FastFit360 aims to reduce the costs associated with producing those garments in the modern marketplace.

The Studio environment is already calibrated for ease of use and single-click collaboration, and with the integration of new gridlines – brought to all new and existing installations via today’s software update – those shared images now benefit from industry-standard measurement and alignment.  With gridlines users can now quickly and easily position hems, measure their garments through the lens of the Studio camera and ensure consistent alignment, height and balance between multiple samples.

In modern product development, physical sampling is a multi-stage process.  Stitching, hems, materials and trims can each move through several iterations before a garment reaches final approval, and at each stage a new sample is created, shipped and analyzed at a considerable cost.  The assessment of measurements and alignment has typically been accomplished via the physical sampling process, but by incorporating gridlines into the Studio, FastFit360 enables users to make accurate comparisons on both metrics without the sample ever leaving the regional office.  By positioning samples within the new grid at the moment of capture, the images that are shared using FastFit360’s cloud storage benefit from consistent points of reference, increasing the accuracy of the collaborative sampling process and further reducing cost.
