TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri has chosen the PDM/PLM solution TEX-DEFINE™

The Italian premium label will be using German software. The extremely successful womenswear company is enjoying an amazing growth rate combined with a remarkable retail expansion; it has now chosen the Koppermann PDM/PLM system to ensure its continued success. TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri will be using TEX-DEFINE™ to develop its collection in future.

TEX-DEFINE™ is the result of many years of constant development as well as continuous feedback from the clothing industry. This has led to substantial process streamlining and optimization thanks, among other things, to sophisticated monitoring and fully perfected supplier communication.

Koppermann is delighted with this new cooperation with TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri and will be doing everything to assist the company on its way for continued success.

A brief profile of TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri:

The TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri brand was founded by the Italian group Light Force and had estimated sales of 168 million euro in 2013. It was founded in the early 1990s on the Italian market and was launched internationally in 2001. The US financial investor Carlyle Group took over a majority interest (70%) in Light Group in 2012 with the aim of intensifying international expansion. Business operations are still in the hands of the founders Tiziano Sgarbi and Simona Barbieri. It is planned for the brand TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri to go public at the end of 2015 or in early 2016. The brand has its HQ in Carpi near Modena and focused from the start on technological innovations with the latest machines for production at the highest level. The sophisticated and elegant collections of Simona Barbieri are playful, feminine and romantic. The TWIN-SET range includes knitwear, embroidered apparel, lace and applications as unique products created with great attention to detail.
