(MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM, 20 JULY 2011) Vector Vogue Limited, creators of the collaborative apparel design library Verve Sketch, today announced that Visual 2000 International. have been awarded exclusive resale rights to the Verve Sketch software within the Canadian market.

Visual 2000, based in Montreal, Canada, are the developers and suppliers of the Visual .Net range, which encompasses PLM solutions, ERP solutions, EDI software and more.  Their recent growth within the UK and European market is supported by a strong customer base in their home territory and, as Vector Vogue Sales Manager Rob Smith explains:

“Visual 2000’s software suite features a positive interface with Adobe Illustrator for apparel design and they really have a good understanding of the mid-market sector.  We are confident that they are the perfect partners to help us expand Verve Sketch’s audience in the Canadian market and start promoting the ‘true’ integration of the design team into the wider PLM system”

This arrangement coincides with similar reseller arrangements in the United Kingdom and United States, and comes as Verve Sketch undergoes its global launch.

Specifically tailored for designers working in the apparel industry, Verve Sketch allows artists to choose from more than 10,000 industrialised vector drawings (menswear, womenswear and childrenswear) to streamline the creation of new styles.  The software’s library is composed of individual components – collars, darts and washing labels – right through to the larger building blocks that allow distributed teams to collaborate on the rapid design of new products while reducing the costs associated with sampling.

Verve Sketch is built on the Adobe Air framework, and its peerless library of construction drawings are cloud-hosted.  With Verve Sketch, designers can assemble a virtual cart of the items they want, and in a single click have them imported into Adobe Illustrator, the de facto design tool for the fashion industry.  Cross-platform support (Windows, Mac, Linux and others) is assured.

Delivered on a SAAS model and constantly updated with new styles, Verve Sketch enables designers to do what they do best – deliver products on-style and on time.
