Visual 2000 International and Segura to Collaborate on Systems Integration

Visual 2000 has established a strategic alliance with Segura to explore opportunities stemming from the integration of Visual’s extensive End-2-End product suite, with Segura’s innovative production tracking software for apparel brands.

MONTREAL, Feb. 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Visual 2000 International Inc. is pleased to announce details of a new strategic alliance with Segura, an innovative software company that specialises in production tracking solutions for the apparel industry.

Under the agreement, Visual 2000 will work closely with the Leicestershire, UK-based Company to explore the potential benefits of integrating Visual’s product range with Segura’s Order Manager function. The two parties will also assess the scope for further integrated applications involving Visual 2000’s leading apparel-specific ERP software and the Segura production tracking system.

Visual 2000’s Vice President of Research and Development Charles Benoualid commented:

“With its integrated End-2-End package, Visual 2000 combines all the tools and information fashion companies need to succeed in a single packaged business solution. With first-of-its-kind integration and interoperability, Visual End2End™ serves as the single source for the product development, production, distribution, and other critical business information that has traditionally been restricted to several independent systems. We are partnering up with Segura as their technology and their vision is perfectly in line with our Visual PLM.net’s product sustainability management and auditing component.”

Segura’s Order Manager is a cloud-hosted secondary supply chain solution that can be integrated with a retailer’s Purchase Order and/or ERP system. It helps to enforce compliance, by ensuring that garment manufacturers can only order from a retailer’s approved supply chain, and protects brands from unethical sourcing.

Segura’s Managing Director, Peter Needle confirmed that it ” is a really exciting opportunity for us to work with an Apparel/Footwear/Accessory-focused technology company that will enable Segura’s innovative software to reach a wider market. By Integrating with Visual’s End-2-End software solutions, the combined proposition will give retailers full visibility and seamless control of their entire supply chain. We believe this will create an unparalleled solution in the market place.”
