Next week I will be attending the National Retail Federation Annual Convention and Expo (which runs from the 15th to the 18th of this month at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre in New York City) as a member of the press. In my absence WhichPLM will continue to play host to the latest industry news and developments, and our social media feeds will be regularly updated with breaking news from the show floor.
The agenda for the show features a fascinating-looking keynote presentation from former President Bill Clinton and Terry Lundgren, Chairman and CEO of Macy’s, as well as manner of breakout sessions and presentations from the likes of IBM, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Whole Foods, Abercrombie & Fitch and many more.
Many of the leading PLM vendors (both core and expanded) will be present at the show, and the list of delegates reads like a who’s who of global retail. During my time there I have scheduled meetings with those vendors, and I look forward to having the opportunity to introduce WhichPLM to an even wider audience of retailers and brands.
If you are a reader – on either side of the supplier / customer divide – and are planning to attend “Retail’s Big Show”, I would welcome the opportunity to meet you. Simply complete a contact form and one of my colleagues will arrange a mutually convenient time for us to get together and discuss PLM.
Those of you who are unable to attend the Convention should keep an eye on WhichPLM over the coming weeks for our reports on the show, a series of supplier interviews and more.
